GAU School of Law, Social Sciences & Diplomacy was founded in 2005. It offers programs of law and international relations & diplomacy. GAU has a universal principle “Theory + Practice”, which is an important aspect of the academic process at the School of Law, Social Sciences & Diplomacy. This objective is effectively achieved through the hard work of our professors, with the majority of them being practitioners – judges, lawmakers, attorneys, lawyers and diplomats. Intensive Professional English courses, ideology-free academic policy, highly qualified Georgian and foreign lecturers, constantly renewed library, resources and an interactive atmosphere – these are GAU’s strengths, which help the graduates of the School of Law, Social Sciences & Diplomacy to grow into development-oriented specialists, who are in high demand in the labor market. In the International Relations and Diplomacy Doctoral Program students have an opportunity to conduct scientific research and pedagogic activities under the supervision of Georgian and foreign highly qualified scientists. The Doctoral Program is especially strong in the direction of international relations theory, political sociology, security studies, international political economy and European research. GAU Law, International Relations and Diplomacy School facilitates the development of scientific projects and research centers (institutions), through encouraging research initiatives of its academic personnel and doctoral program graduates.
