About the university
Lancaster University Ghana is a branch campus of Lancaster University, United Kingdom. It was established in October 2013 when it received its accreditation from the National Accreditation Board in Ghana. The University offers an excellent opportunity for students in Africa to study in a prestigious UK degree in Ghana, allowing students from across West Africa to earn a British qualification closer to home. The Accra-based branch campus, called Lancaster University Ghana, is the only one of its kind in West Africa and is committed to producing graduates who have the skills and knowledge to meet the region’s industrial, societal and governmental needs.

Visado de estudiante
Student outside West Africa will require visa before or on arrival. Please check with immigration in your home country to do the required before school starts. Applicants need to to take visa acquisition very seriously as the university is not responsible for this, we can only provide assistance where possible.
Alojamiento
We do not operate hostel accommodation, however we recommend a variety of private hostel facilities for students to choose from. We provide shuttle buses to accommodation with 10 or more students at one place, to convey students to and from the campus .The following private hostels are recommended as places that meet basic standards of decency.
