About the university
Asansol Institute of Engineering and Management-Polytechnic (AIEM-P), a new polytechnic institute in West Bengal has started its journey from 2015-16 under the aegis of EASTERN INDIA EDUCATIONAL TRUST with an expectation to fulfil the demand and necessity of Diploma Engineers in eastern part of India. The College computational facilities include Server and more than 150 PCs connected to campus wide LAN comprising of Gigabit backbone and switches and fibre optic cables. This campus is also well equipped with Wi-Fi facilities. There are quite a good number of application software available with ample scope of exposure to different OS platforms. All the computers in the College Campus are connected to the Internet through dedicated broadband leased line using uninterrupted power supply. The Internet facility is available in the College Campus round the clock for 365 days.
