About the university
Balikpapan State Polytechnic is a state-based polytechnic college located in Balikpapan City, East Kalimantan. Previously, Poltekba was private. After the release of SK Permendiknas No 41 of 2011, on September 9, 2011, signed by the Minister of National Education Muhammad Nuh, the status of Poltekba changed into the country. Balikpapan State Polytechnic has a vision is becoming a vocational institution of superior character, excellence, and global competitiveness.
