About the university
It is located in Saga, Arashiyama, a world-class sightseeing site that combines history, culture and nature. It is a university that studies art with a focus on art and design, and is the predecessor of "Saga Art Junior College" established in 1971 (Showa 46) in January as an establishment of the Onematsu Daisenji Temple. It has been popular as an abbreviation for "Saga Beauty". It is 45 years since its founding and nearly 20,000 graduates are producing. Since April 2017, it was renamed to Saga Art University and Saga Art Junior College.
