About the university
Oyama Industrial College of Technology , founded in 1965 , is about to commemorate the 50th anniversary of its founding in the year. Early specialized education focusing on experiences, which has been pursued for the purpose of training practical and creative engineers, has given high educational effect and has been highly appreciated from various viewpoints. So far, we have sent over 7,700 graduates to society and play a major role in our industrial world. Currently our main school has reorganized the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Engineering and the Department of Electronic Control Engineering in FY2003 to establish a "Department of Electrical and Electronic Creative Engineering" of 80 entrance students, with a capacity of 40 people, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Department of Materials Engineering, Department of Architecture and Together, we started a new department as a technical college of 200 with admission capacity of 4 departments. Also at our school there is a major department of Complex Engineering which continues from our department and learns more advanced expertise and skills.
