About the university
Okayama University of Science Faculty of Science Department of Applied Mathematics, Chemistry Department established. Faculty of Science, Applied Chemistry Department, Applied Physics Department increased. Showa 44 (1969) Faculty of Science Faculty of Engineering and Electronic Science are added. Okayama Prefecture Kawakami Village Kawakami Village opened Yusuyama Research Center (December). Showa 46 (1971) Introduced electronic computer, established information processing center (February). Department of Science Department of Applied Mathematics, Department of Applied Chemistry, Department of Applied Chemistry, Department of Applied Physics majored in four major courses.
