West Kazakhstan Engineering and Humanities University

The West Kazakhstan Engineering and Technology University (WKETU) was specially created to meet the growing needs of the region, therefore the university set itself the goals of training specialists who could solve specific problems of the region and quickly navigate the changing social and economic situation. Founded in 2000, it became the first non-state versatile university in the West Kazakhstan region (in 2000 the university was called the Institute of Management and Law), mainly the technical direction. The fruitful activity resulted in the transformation of the institute into a large educational, scientific and cultural complex of the Western region of Kazakhstan. In 2002, he was given a new status - the status of the university. This merit of teachers, students and graduates of the university. It was they who with selfless labor created a powerful material and technical base, formed highly qualified scientific and human resources for the training of graduates, high authority of the university in the oil and gas industry, in transport, and in other branches of the national economy. Over the years, WKETU has firmly established itself in the university community, along with state educational institutions, not only in the West Kazakhstan region, but also in the Western region of Kazakhstan. The University does everything necessary for students to be proud of their institution and received a diploma, and the institution in turn with its young, enterprising, erudite alumni.
