About the university
In 2017, our university celebrated its 114th year of establishment. It was first established in Pyongyang in 1903 by Pastor Majo Samyulli in the United States, and rebuilt in Seoul (Namsan) in 1953. Through this education, We have been devoted to the discharge of necessary female talents and leaders. Our university has set the vision of the university as 'Good to Great Leader', the best university centered on creativity and humanity, and studies and teaches the professional knowledge and theories required for the development of the national industry and aims to train professionals in various fields. Based on this vision and educational goals, we will focus on human education desired by the society, professional education required by the nation, and language education needed by the world. We will strive to cultivate human resources of knowledge and information society that combine creativity and subjectivity as professionals.
