This course is the first in Mauritius and Africa to be accredited by a Joint Board of Moderators(Uk), Washington Accord Institution. The BSc(Hons) Civil Engineering course has been granted accreditation by Joint Board of Moderators(UK) for the period 2012 – 2023. The aim of this degree programme is to provide students with a sound knowledge and understanding of the subject of Civil Engineering with an awareness of their responsibilities to society and the environment. On completion of the BSc(Hons) Civil Engineering course, students can undertake further learning through an accredited BEng or MSc in Civil Engineering to be eligible to register as Chartered Engineer (CEng) with the Institution of Civil Engineers(UK) or as Professional Engineer with the Council of Registered Professional Engineers (CRPE) in Mauritius.
