About the university
On 10 October, the call for candidates to enter this Institution was launched. The work began on October 25, 1977, with a school population of 150 students, selected taking into account the level of knowledge, forming two groups of 75 each. The first Director of the School was Profra. Zélide Saeb Salinas and the Deputy Directors Profr. Pablo Armando Garza Williams and Profr. Rodolfo Martinez Contreras. The work began with the "75 Restructured" curriculum in force in the country. The curriculum is a central element in all Education System, compendium of Justification, fundamentals, policies, objectives, methodologies and curricula. This curriculum comprised eight basic core subjects with their courses each.
