About the university
The North Technological University of Aguascalientes (UTNA) is part of the Technological University Subsystem (UUTT). It was created in 2000, and is located in the Municipality of Rincón de Romos, has two fundamental purposes: a) relocate the higher education services of the State of Aguascalientes, adapting them to the geographical distribution of the population, and b) contribute to the Diversification of the offer of higher education in the entity. The UTNA opened its doors to society, offering programs of University Superior Technician (TSU) of two years of study in: Marketing, Accounting and Information and Communication Technologies; For 2001 offered Industrial Maintenance and Production Processes, thus increasing its educational offer. During the first two years, efforts were focused on ensuring that the educational programs offered to high school graduates of the municipalities of the north of the state were of quality; For this reason, the first effort was made to obtain the Certificate in the Quality Management System ISO 9000: 2000, later the 2008 version would be obtained.
