About the university
The INAU, created in 1981, is an institution for the training of senior executives in planning and urban planning. It is the only training institution in Morocco that deals with the problems of the organization of space and the different instruments of intervention on it. The INAU is classified in category "A", which includes the faculties and the grandes écoles of higher education in Morocco (Mohammedia School of Engineers, the Hassania School of Public Works, the Hassan II Agronomic and Veterinary Institute, etc.). It is legally placed under the supervision of the government department responsible for urban planning and development (currently the Ministry of Housing, Urban Planning and Spatial Planning). The headquarters of the Institute is in Rabat, Boulevard Allal Al Fassi, Madinat Al Irfane - Rabat Institutes.
