About the university
The Sultan Moulay Slimane University (USMS) was created within the Tadla Azilal region as part of the decentralization of higher education under Royal Decree No. 21.06 of 23 April 2007, supplementing Dahir No. 1.75. 398 of 16 October 1975 on the establishment of universities. The USMS is now composed of three institutions: the Faculty of Letters and Human Sciences, the Faculty of Science and Technology and the Polydisciplinary Faculty. The USMS ENCG will open its doors to bachelors in the next academic year 2012 - 2013. The courses we are preparing and those we intend to offer or improve in the fields of science, technology, economics, law, literature or those of communication and heritage all fit in with the aim of making our university the engine of Economic and social development of the Tadla Azilal region. Our university must be the spearhead of human resources training to enhance our region as a major pole of socio-economic development.
