AWI International Education Group is one of the most important private institutions in Auckland with over 14 years of experience in the educational field. The institution is approved by New Zealand Qualifications Authority and is a signatory to the Code of Practice for the Pastoral Care of International Students. In 2011 AWI joined with NMIT (Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology) in an association designed to deliver the Bachelor of Commerce Degree. This has meant that AWI has become the first and only private institution to offer a public Bachelors Degree in New Zealand. AWI offers English, Business, Computing/IT, and Early Childhood programmes up to undergraduate level. AWI has partnerships with international education providers including universities and polytechnics or institutes of technology. The international students studying at AWI are from a wide variety of different and multi-cultural backgrounds.
