About the university
PIM is the pioneer of executive development in Pakistan and specializes in the training and development of managers from business and industry. Since PIM’s inception in 1954, more than 200,000 managers have participated in its management training courses. PIM conducts short duration training courses in morning time (for 2 to 5 days) and professional diploma and certifications program in the evening (3 to 4 months duration). PIM is a non-profit organization and its financial requirements are derived from course fees, contributions from member organizations and government grant. It has been a recipient of technical assistance from many international agencies and is widely recognized at home and abroad as the country’s leading management development institute. PIM operates out of its three custom built training centers. Main training center and head office is based in Karachi, whereas, one branch office/training center (wholly owned) is based in Lahore. The second branch office/training center is in Islamabad (at IIU old campus, Faisal Masjad).
