Bachelor of Social Work – 7 Semesters Total ECTS (European Credit Transfer System): 210 The study plan is structured from the first to the sixth semesters to ensure consistent scientific training in disciplinary areas such as sociology, economics, psychology, law and social service with the central objective of socializing future social workers for an interdisciplinary perspective. Field work is foreseen in all semesters from the 1st to the 3rd year. The field experience provides a teaching-learning process with planned observation of social phenomena and problems, ensures duly oriented experiences of professional practices, which ensures significant learning that articulates scientific knowledge with the operational processes of the Social Service. In the 7th and last semester, special attention is given to training in a real work context. In the 20 hours per week vocational internship, students can deepen the link between scientific knowledge and the operative knowledge of the Social Service.
