Objectives - Mastering drawing, specifically human body drawing and fashion illustration. - Mastering pattern-making and tailoring techniques for the production of garments. - Knowledge of textile processes and materials. - Knowledge of the market and the consumer. - Develop ideas for the promotion, presentation, and dissemination of fashion products. - Domain of technical knowledge for the preparation of various forms of presentation of products in the market, such as print, screen and runway environment. - Know how to think and develop the whole process of creating Fashion Design collections. - Mastery of several methodologies for the development of the creative process in Fashion Design. Future Studies To continue to develop research in the areas where research is already done. The focus on research in future studies will be the development of historiography of costumes in Portuguese cinema, Historiography of Fashion in Portugal. Sustainability, Identity, Digital Fashion and Cultural Heritage will always be topics to bet on in the choices for the research to be developed.
