The following may apply for the cycle of studies leading to the master's degree a) holders of a bachelor's degree or legal equivalent, primarily in the area of physical education and sports and sports science; b) holders of a foreign academic degree conferred following a 1st cycle of studies organized according to the principles of the Bologna process by a State that adheres to that process; c) Holders of a foreign higher academic degree that is recognized as meeting the objectives of the degree of licenciado by the statutorily competent body; d) holders of an academic, scientific or professional curriculum that is recognized by the statutorily competent body of ULHT as attesting the capacity to carry out this cycle of studies. Seriation criteria 50% grade of the previous qualification 20% Degree area or branch (affinity with the master's area) 10% Participation in Congresses and other events, with presentation of Communications or Posters 20% Professional curriculum in the area For candidates with no classification of previous qualification, the seriation criteria will be as follows: Curricular Appreciation: 40% Area of the degree or branch (affinity with the area of the master's degree) 20% Participation in Congresses and other events, with presentation of papers or posters 40% Professional curriculum in the area For candidates without previous qualification 100% Curricular appreciation Objectives Develop the skills, knowledge and abilities necessary for integration into interdisciplinary teams in clinical contexts (branch exercise, nutrition and health), or for the performance of positions of technical direction of gyms (branch Fitness) basing the practice in the evidence, with autonomy in updating, production and communication of knowledge, respecting the research methods and current state of the art of the area. Future Studies Specialization and post-graduate programs, including 3rd cycle programs referring to doctoral studies. The master's degree has protocols with several institutions: - Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lisbon; - Club das Conchas Clinic; - Metropolitan Area of Lisbon - Metric Ingredient - DECO-Protest (from December 2021) - CHRC ¿ COMPREHENSIVE HEALTH RESEARCH CENTRE of Nova Medical School (from January 2022) Professional Exchanges Technical direction of gyms (Fitness branch) or integration in interdisciplinary teams in clinical contexts (branch exercise, nutrition and health). The Master's Degree does not give access to the Professional Title of Physical Exercise Technician (ex-cédula).
