Admission Requirements The following are eligible to apply to this cycle of studies a) Holders of a master's degree or legal equivalent from the areas of communication studies or artistic studies or artistic studies; b) Holders of a bachelor's degree who have a particularly relevant curriculum vitae that is recognized as attesting to the capacity to carry out this EC by the Scientific Committee of the doctorate; c) Holders of an academic, scientific and professional curriculum vitae that is recognized as attesting the capacity to carry out this CE by the Scientific Committee of the doctorate to perform this EC by the Scientific Committee of the doctorate, assessed namely according to the portfolio. Documents required for candidacy: - Thesis Pre-project; - Letter of Motivation; - Curriculum Vitae; - Certificates of Qualifications. The selection process includes a mandatory individual interview to assess your motivation and qualifications for the course. and qualifications to attend the course. Application and selection process is integrated - Seriation: 60% CV 40% interview interview Objectives The PhD aims to promote diverse learning opportunities, using multiple teaching methodologies and scientific development activities in order to allow students to fully explore their technical and artistic skills in an R&D context. Starting from artistic experimentation and critical evaluation of media objects and projects, the curricular plan aims to expose students to emerging and innovative areas of research and intervention in Media Arts. In particular, the plan aims that students acquire knowledge and skills that allow them to develop projects both on platforms and networks, as well as in emerging areas such as XR, AR and immersive technologies that today extend the domains of media intervention to areas such as cultural heritage, tourism, curatorship, digital arts or interactive narratives.
