Seriation criteria - 50% note of the previous qualification - 50% of the curricular assessment Applicants without previous qualification or without classification of previous qualification: - 75% appreciation of the curriculum vitae - 25% Motivation and Justification Objectives The main objective of the Master in Political Science: Citizenship and Governance is to problematize the major issues that humanity faces today in a globalised world that lacks an effective system of governance on a global scale. To this end, the study plan is structured to provide access to in-depth theoretical knowledge of national political systems in their relationship with supranational political structures in a networked world. Further Studies The MA in Political Science-Citizenship and Governance is the intermediate cycle between the degree in Political Science and International Relations and the PhD in Political Science. It corresponds, therefore, to the end of the intellectual maturing process and to the beginning of the process that will culminate in the recognition of the capacity to develop autonomous research. Career Prospects The Masters is attended both by full-time students and by students already integrated into professional life, and, in the latter case, it must also be taken into account that not all professional activities fall within the scope of the themes of the course. The previous findings point to the existence of some heterogeneity in terms of the reasons behind the choice of the Master's degree and the use made of its objectives. In fact, the professional outlets are numerous, since the Master is directed to the most diverse sectors of social life. Thus, the Masters in Political Science-Citizenship and Governance may come to play roles in central, regional and local government bodies, political parties, businesses, trade unions, associations, international organizations and agents of development and cooperation.
