Admission Requirements The following students may apply to the cycle of studies that leads to the mestre degree a) holders of a licenciado degree or legal equivalent; b) holders of a foreign academic degree conferred following a 1st cycle of studies organized according to the principles of the Bologna process by a State that adheres to that process c) Holders of a foreign higher academic degree that is recognized as fulfilling the objectives of the degree of licenciado by the statutorily competent body; d) holders of an academic, scientific or professional curriculum vitae that is recognized by the statutorily competent body of ULHT as attesting the capacity to carry out this cycle of studies. Seriation criteria - 50% note of the previous qualification - 50% of the curricular assessment Applicants without previous qualification or without classification of previous qualification: - 75% appreciation of the curriculum vitae - 25% Motivation and Justification Admission Requirements Objectives In the framework of the competencies required by law and university practice, the Master's Programme has the following objectives (a) Apply knowledge and understanding capacity to solve problems related to Diplomacy and International Relations to broad and multidisciplinary contexts. b) Make judgments about the ethical, social and political implications and responsibilities, resulting from the solutions to the problems proposed by Diplomacy and International Relations. c) Develop the capacity to communicate their knowledge and reasoning both to specialists and non-specialists in a clear manner. Further Studies The Master's Degree in Diplomacy and International Relations is the intermediate cycle between the Bachelor's Degree and the continuation of studies at the Doctoral level in the two scientific areas privileged in the Master's Degree or in related areas. Career Prospects The objectives of the Master clearly show that it is not intended to be a "school for diplomats", which is an added value. In fact, the professional outlets are numerous, since the Master is aimed at the most diverse sectors of social life. Thus, the Masters in Diplomacy and International Relations may come to perform functions in embassies, central, regional and local administration bodies, political parties, companies, trade unions, associations, international organizations and agents of development and cooperation.
