Alma Mater University of Sibiu

The Alma Mater University in Sibiu is a private higher education institution that widens the range of higher education specializations in Sibiu. The University was authorized to function by Government Decision 916 of August 11, 2005. Currently, there are two faculties at the Alma Mater University in Sibiu: the Faculty of Economic, Social and Administrative Sciences, respectively the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences, Hunedoara. Within these faculties, there are the following accredited specializations: Public Administration, Management, Economy of Commerce, Service Tourism and Quality Management, Primary and Primary Education Pedagogy respectively authorized to operate temporarily: Economy of Commerce, Tourism Services and Quality Management - Hunedoara, Psychology. Starting with the academic year 2006/2007, the university activity expanded with two more faculties, authorized to work in the city of Bacau with the specializations Marketing and International Affairs which ended their activity at the end of the academic year 2012-2013 and Hunedoara respectively with the specializations Economy of Commerce, Tourism Services and Quality Management and Public Administration, authorized to operate on a temporary basis.
