The Satu Mare Commercial Academy foundation, through its status, aims to promote the cultural, scientific and spiritual values ​​of the Romanian people; To carry out higher education activities; To support the promotion of the values ​​of democracy and education in a climate of tolerance, respect and understanding between individuals, groups of individuals, denominations, ethnicity and nations. The Satu Mare Commercial Academy, a higher education institution, operates within the Satu Mare Commercial Academy Foundation, a legal entity constituted under Law 21 / 06.02.1924 and Decree 31 / 30.01.1954. The Academy of Commerce is the first university in Satu Mare, its appearance in the system of higher education institutions in this part of the country is necessary due to the explosive growth of the demand for economists on the labor market, mainly due to the increasing involvement of the financial system, And insurance in economic life, as well as the maturing of the activity of the companies that appeared in the 90s, or the development of the long transition period of the traditional satmarean enterprises. The Commercial Academy offers, in particular to young satmareni, but also to other counties, the opportunity to form themselves as economists with a solid professional training.
