This master program was developed to meet the demanding of prospective learners; whereby, there are two principal criteria were focused on: (i) the training program must be up-to-date and stick to the trend of the world; (ii) the training program has to have high potential applicability and focusing on the areas of technology in the field of civil engineering that are being recently noticed and emerged. Based on the above-mentioned targets, the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Ton DucThang University has referred the curriculum of master program in civil engineering of some prestigious universities over the world e.g. Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore; National University of Singapore (NUS), Singapore; The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), Hong Kong; The University of New South Wales (UNSW Sydney), Australia. This master program has built its curriculum by considering the curriculums of such prestigious universities and modified them to suit with actual conditions and situations in Vietnam. In sum, this master program could help learners engage in advance curriculums of master program of prestigious universities herein Vietnam; furthermore, they could experience the state-of-the-art technology in civil engineering that could boost the success in their professional career, and adapt with the development of the industrial revolution 4.0 in Vietnam.
