About the university
College of Nursing Jesenice (recently upgraded to Faculty of Health Care Jesenice, FHCJ), is an independent higher education institution established by the Municipality of Jesenice. It offers two accredited study programmes: 1st cycle study programme Nursing and 2nd cycle study programme Nursing (master's degree). The school obtained a concession for implementing the 1st cycle study programme. In the academic year 2013/2014, a total of 345 students were enrolled in the 1st cycle degree programme, and 13 in the 2nd cycle programme. In addition to implementing both study programmes, CNJ is also known for its research, development, international cooperation and educational activities through the Center for Life-Long Learning, Career Counseling, Tutoring and Mentoring.
