About the university
BAU Centro Universitario de Diseño de Barcelona was born in 1989. As a result of the concerns of a group of design professionals with a strong teaching and pedagogical vocation, a center of advanced studies in Design, modern, innovative and multidisciplinary was founded which came to complement The models that at that time offered the most traditional and academic training centers of Barcelona. In 2014, coinciding with the 25th anniversary of BAU, the infrastructure is expanded with a new building of 2,000 m2. The academic offer of BAU is specified in the university degrees of Degree, Masters and Postgraduate . The Center also offers other studies such as the Diploma in Graphic Design «Bau Noche» and the Summer University in addition to a great variety of monographic courses. The quality of the Bau training, evaluated by the AQU -Agència per a Qualitat del Sistema Universitari de Catalunya-, certifies our present and the future of the educational project of our Center.
