Location
The Master in Operations and Engineering of Unmanned Aerial Systems responds to the take-off of the sector in Galicia. This master combines the impulse of operating companies that operate in global markets and companies that develop their own systems. Another factor that indicates the gradual development and organization of the sector is the formation of local business associations such as the Galician Association of Unmanned Intelligent Systems (AGASINT). To the effort carried out by the business sector must be added the effort made by the Galician autonomous administration with the creation of the Aeroported Research Center INTA-Xunta de Galicia (CIAR) in Lugo, the development of a Higher Technical Degree Training Cycle in Maintenance of Aircraft (IES AS Mercedes de Lugo), the implementation of the Civil UAS Initiative, the promotion of the Galicia Aerospace Innovation Center (CINAE) in the Porto do Molle Business Park of the Zona Franca Vigo and the creation of the School of Aeronautical and Space Engineering in the Ourense Campus of the University of Vigo.
