Public Health Institute is a multi-disciplinary Institute that promotes creation of new knowledge and application of evidence-based science through delivery of applied health research, professional training and teaching programs aimed at enhancing the leadership and performance of the health system and improving health and health care nationally and internationally. Mission To develop staff, working or intending to work in the health sector, at postgraduate level to act as leaders in public health by building their knowledge and skills in public health management; conduct health systems and biomedical research; and to provide evidence-based technical advice on issues facing the health system.
