Location
Food Engineering deals with the application of engineering principles for the production, transport, storage, processing, packaging and distribution of groceries and comestibles. The Department offers novel research facilities (e.g. laboratories for Instrumental Analysis, Food Research, Food Microbiology and Cereal Processing) to its researchers and students. Food Engineering education provides people with highly qualified engineering skills specialized in product design and development, food processing and marketing as well as other related fields.
