The main purpose of the Department of History is to create an infrastructure for young people to have experience of accessing knowledge at an academic level in the field of history, to gain interpretation skills, and to prepare for the doctoral program. For this reason, student-focused research is carried out within the scope of the program and student-advisor cooperation stands out. Academic studies on the history of different nations, especially Turkish-Islamic History, are conducted for students who have a bachelor's degree in history and social science departments. Students are equipped with theoretical and practical knowledge in their field of study. Besides, students are raised to make scientific contributions in the national and international arena.
