Mechatronics Engineering is a multidisciplinary field that combines the fields of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Control Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Information Systems to create synergy to design and produce useful products. Mechatronics Engineering exists to respond to the current needs in robotics, automation, and intelligent automotive industry, production facilities, space systems, motors, and systems used in engines, satellite, and computer-based drive design. These systems use advanced technologies for detection, signal shaping, interface development, activation, communication, and control of electromechanical systems. Nowadays, there is an increasing need for mechatronics graduate engineers for the development, operation, and maintenance of such high-tech systems.
