Duration of studies: 3 years and 10 months Educational background requirements: Persons who have obtained complete secondary education and taken part in creativity competition and have Certificates of the Ukrainian Center for Educational Quality Assessment in competitive subjects required by the Admission Regulations of the National University of Ostroh Academy Professional competencies and skills: Bachelor of Journalism has the right to participate in the contest to continue studying at educational institutions of the IV level of accreditation with the view of obtaining a Master’s degree, to hold entry-level positions of: a TV journalist, a radio journalist, a literary editor, an editor of TV programs, an editor of studios, an editor-translator, a correspondent and a reporter, an employee at a department of advertising and public relations. The specialist is able to: possess culture of thinking; formulate its results in written and oral language correctly (logically); be knowledgeable in the field of publishing and master the art of editing; possess basic knowledge in the field of humanitarian and social economic sciences, be able to scientifically analyze socially significant problems and processes; be able to work effectively in professional sphere on the basis on systemic approach, be able to build and use models for description and forecasting of various events, carry out their qualitative and quantitative analysis.
