Pryazovskyi State Technical University

Today the university is working on the following areas: training of specialists in various fields of economic activity; training engineers working in manufacturing; preparing students and high school pupils for university; professional training for foreign countries; cultural and educational activities; development of new areas of liberal education. Training is conducted by multilevel system "Bachelor - Specialist - Master." Educational process is provided by 42 departments, under which 41 are PhD, professor, 218 PhDs, associate professors, 47 academicians and corresponding members, industry and foreign academies, 3 Honored Scientist of Ukraine. Now the University comprises 10 faculties, 4 educational and research institutes, 4 schools, college, vocational school, pre-university training department, department of distance education and external studies, training and consulting 2 points. The University offers postgraduate and doctoral studies. Since its inception, the university has trained more than 60,000 highly qualified specialists for the economy of Ukraine and about 2 thousand specialists, candidates and doctors for 48 foreign countries in Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America. The university has more than 20 innovative projects, including international, educational and scientific research. For considerable achievements in education and science, and PSTU repeatedly awarded prizes on national and international exhibitions. In the ranking of universities University of Ukraine occupies the 4th place among universities technical profile. In 2008, the PSTU received the title of Leader of National Education.
