Construction is a global industry, and we want to give you the skills to be able to make your mark in your chosen profession. We’ll help you develop an understanding of what goes into global construction at each stage of a project, so we’ll cover the client’s initial brief through to design, procurement, construction, operations and maintenance of built assets. But it’s not all about the project in hand. We also want to help you develop transferable talents. We’ll give you the chance to work on your leadership skills, and we’ll introduce you to Lean Construction and Building Information Modelling (BIM) with insights from world-leading practitioners and academics. Lean thinking is becoming more and more important in building a sustainable global environment. We’ll give you the chance to explore why it’s important to reduce all kinds of waste in a project, and how you might go about doing it.
