Location
Choose from three concentrations including Narrative Journalism, Sports Broadcasting and Journalism, or Multimedia Journalism. Program curriculum is constantly evolving with new technologies to keep pace with the latest communications channels including the new breed of “backpack journalism” – you will be prepared to work as a reporter, photographer and videographer, as well as an editor and producer of stories. Internships at newspapers, television stations, radio stations and digital media sources give you hands-on experience as you apply course theories and sharpen your communication skills. You can gain additional experience participating in the student newspaper, television station, radio station, and digital media arts clubs, as well as the college’s chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists.
