As a Communication Studies major, you will choose from three sequences: advertising and public relations; interpersonal and organizational communication; and media studies. Whichever area you choose to explore, you’ll have access to cutting-edge technology including updated digital video editing lab, web and imaging lab, state-of-the-art Mac computer labs with the latest multi-media software, and an HD television studio and screening room. Apply the theory and skills you develop in class to the real-world with an internship or two. A field professional and our department’s internship director will support you as you take on internships locally or in cities such as New York, Boston, Washington, and Los Angeles.
