About the university
Founded in 1924, our mission is, “to glorify God by equipping godly servant-leaders for the proclamation of His Word and the building up of the body of Christ worldwide.” In other words, we want to help men and women fulfill the Great Commission and the Great Commandment, or more simply: Teach Truth. Love Well. We praise God that he has raised up so many wonderful seminaries with strengths — such as carrying on theological viewpoints or serving denominational needs — but we feel privileged that God’s direction for DTS is simply to equip students with the truth of the Bible, trusting it to change lives.
