About the university
The Conway School’s graduate program in landscape design and planning equips students with a Master of Science in Ecological Design in ten months. Students work on real projects for real clients, learning an effective, practical design process rooted in ecological thinking. Through Conway’s intimate, intensive, and collaborative environment, students learn how to approach complex environmental and social challenges.

Conway students come from very diverse backgrounds, encompass a wide age range, and bring a passionate commitment to sustainable design. There is no prerequisite field of study. However, applicants should show ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and to achieve, after instruction, competent design expression through drawings and presentations. Good writing skills are also required. Since the program involves a great deal of public speaking, applicants must be fluent in English.

International students are required to obtain an F1 Visa to study in the United States. The Conway School is certified through the Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP). Please contact the school for more information about obtaining a student visa.
Alojamiento
Conway does not have dormitories. Most students rent rooms, apartments or houses in the area for the year. The school maintains a list of available rentals, many of which have housed Conway students for years. Students make their own arrangements, usually during the summer before school starts.

The majority of students finance their year at Conway through some form of financial aid. Conway will work with you to determine your eligibility for federal loans and for Conway School need-based tuition grants. Dedicated to small class sizes and one-on-one faculty and student interactions, Conway focuses on providing the best possible education for students while also keeping tuition as financially feasible as possible.
