2 + 2 University Transfer Pathway. This associate degree is designed for the student planning to transfer to a four-year college or university as an engineering major. Meeting the minimum requirements for the associate degree, however, will not qualify one for admission to upper division Engineering. Students are urged to see a counselor for qualifying courses. Students who would like to earn an associate degree and transfer to a university bachelor program can achieve this goal with early educational planning. However, this is a high unit major and will require an extended amount of terms to complete both an Engineering Associate Degree and university transfer requirements. Please note: earning an associate degree is not required to transfer.
