El psicólogo especialista en esta rama, podrá desempeñarse en el área clínica tanto con niños, adolescentes y adultos, siendo sujetos sanos o portadores de patologías orgánicas, psíquicas o cognitivas, realizando diagnósticos exhaustivos a partir de las técnicas correspondientes tanto en el contexto de la consulta pública o privada. Podrá además desarrollar líneas de investigación en ámbitos específicos.
