La Maestría en Psicología Social se propone formar investigadores al más alto nivel académico en el país en relación a este campo de conocimientos. Por tanto, capaces de producir conocimientos de excelencia académica en relación a las más diversas problemáticas, de promover la innovación y de incidir en los cambios necesarios en beneficio de la sociedad uruguaya, regional y latinoamericana, Los egresados quedarán habilitados para desempeñarse en la formulación, diseño, gestión y ejecución de programas de extensión, investigación y enseñanza a nivel terciario y cuaternario, en las áreas competentes a la materia, en correspondencia con las líneas de investigación emergentes de la maestría.
