About the university
July 22, 2014 by the Decree of the President of Uzbekistan the decree "On the formation of the Tashkent State Dental Institute" was signed. The Institute was established on the basis of the Dental Faculty of the Tashkent Medical Academy. Our institute has faculties: 1. Dentistry (5 years) 2. Pediatric dentistry (5 years) 3. Medical business (6 years) 4. Clinical psychology (5.5 years) 5. Biomedical Engineering (3 years) Education at these faculties is conducted in Uzbek or Russian. We will be glad to see you among our students. Mission of TSDI: Future perfection of high qualified medical personnel in the area of dentistry on the level of international requirements and standards, reinforcement and development of educational and materially technical base responsible for modern requirements for organisation of educational process, introduction of leading informational communication and educational technologies, securing of close connection of theoretical preparation of future dental specialists with practical skills acquired by them.
