Prime University (Bengali: প্রাইম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়) or PU is a private university in Mirpur, Dhaka, Bangladesh. The university was established by the Private University Act 1992. PU is affiliated by the University Grants Commission Bangladesh. The University was established in 2002 at Mirpur, Dhaka. PU is the first venture of the Prime Foundation. Prime University is located at 2A/1, North East of Darus Salam Road, Section-1, Mirpur, Dhaka, Bangladesh. A huge building having an area of 55000 sq. ft is used for the accommodation of the University. The permanent campus of Prime University is under construction at 114-116, Mazar Road, Section-1, Mirpur, Dhaka.
