Movses Khorenatsi University

The University after Movses Khorenatsi actualizes “About education” higher primary educational program provided by the law of the Republic of Armenia (state accreditation N 117). There are the following faculties in the University: Philological Foreign languages Mathematics Economics Faculty of Law Elementary education pedagogy and methodology. All the faculties has passed the accreditation process and all our graduates get state diplomas. The majority of the students in the University are from Armenia. There are approximately 130 students from foreign countries (There are students from Georgia, Russia, Ukrain, Abkhazia, Syria, etc. ). All the faculties has passed the accreditation process in 2004. “Movses Khorenatsi” scientific journal and “Pyunik” magazine are published by the University. The scientific main directions of the University for the next few years are: Higher education’s teaching and methodology issues and upgrading (it includes the processing form of student inspections and attestations) The basic problems of the use of mathematical methods and models for the natural sciences Providing the use of higher technologies for computer engineering, ECM and programming The basic problems of the progress of economic sectors during the market relations formation and development The basic problems of upgrading,modernization pedagogical, humanitarian and socio-economic sectors and its development perspectives The improvement of teaching foreign languages and the use of new methods.
