Founded in 1999, Université de Ngozi (Ngozi University) is a private higher education institution located in the medium-sized town of Ngozi (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants). Officially accredited/recognized by the Ministère de l’Enseignement Supérieur et de la Recherche Scientifique, Burundi (Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Burundi), Université de Ngozi (UNG) is a coeducational higher education institution. Université de Ngozi (UNG) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment. UNG also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
