Member of the Great Patriotic War. In 1943 - 1945 - platoon commander of anti-aircraft artillery, assistant chief of staff of the division in the Transcaucasian Air Defense Zone (Grozny). Since January 1944, he fought in the composition of the III Ukrainian Front, participated in the liberation of Poland and Germany. In 1953 he graduated from Kharkov Artillery Radio Engineering Academy named after L.A. Govorov. From 1954 to 1956 years. - teacher of the Gorky Radio Technical School. From 1956 to 1959 years. - Adjunct of the Kharkov Artillery Radio Engineering Academy. Here, from 1959 to 1963. Worked as a teacher, then as a senior teacher. In 1962 he defended his thesis. From 1963 to 1972 Was the head of the department of armament of anti-aircraft missile forces of the Minsk Higher Engineering Air Defense Missile School. In 1965, one of the first in the school successfully defended his doctoral dissertation. In 1972, in the rank of colonel, he was appointed deputy head of the school for academic and scientific work.
