About the university
The Paññāsāstra University of Cambodia (PUC) is a private university located in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. It provides an English-based education in all subjects, and is accredited by the Royal Government of Cambodia's Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport. PUC was initially established in 1997, but was not in operations until January 1 2000, the beginning of the new Millennium. PUC is a private institution for higher learning. It was founded by a group of Cambodian expatriates from the United States of America, whose objectives are to contribute to the development and enhancement of Cambodia’s human resources; and to play an active role in the “nation building” process for future generations
