About the university
The Protestant Edwin Cozzens University of Elat in Ebolowa was founded in February 2007. Elat University in Ebolowa, named after an American missionary "Edwin Cozzens" who, as early as 1920, was thinking of setting up a university in Ebolowa . His premature death has halted this ambition, an ambition realized to this day by the Protestant Christian community of Ebolowa
