About the university
The history of higher education in Cape Verde is indelibly marked by the ISCEE - Instituto Superior de Ciências Económicas e Empresariais, as the first private higher education initiative in the country. Founded in 1991, by a Dynamizing Commission composed by António Canuto, Hermes Morazzo, Ananta Pinto, João Spencer, Ana Maria de Novais St'Aubyn and Afonso Zego, it was denominated, then, Superior School of Management and Marketing and Accounting . Currently, COOPENSINO - Cooperativa de Ensino Superior is headquartered in Mindelo, island of São Vicente, Cape Verde.
